of all the things about this game this is the one thing i need to talk about first because i have been going absolutely feral over This Moment for over a month
and it’s not even like omggg their hands are touching NOPE it’s that link sees that zelda’s going for the purah pad so he just wordlessly steps forward and takes the torch and there’s this Moment -- because she didn’t ask him to do it, she’s preoccupied and not necessarily expecting it -- where both their hands are on the torch at the same time and you can see the weight of it shift over to link and zelda looks at him for just a split second before she lets go. that tiny glance at him has me so fucked up. it’s so comfortable and such a human gesture and it just indicates to me how close they are now, that link doesn’t need permission to step into her personal space like this and zelda is so at ease in having him there and i am foaming at the mouth i have watched this a thousand times

Jenny used to let absolutely anybody crash at her place. It was like a year-round Christmas miracle. If you had any secrets, she didn't want to know, and the ones she had she kept to herself. There was a wall heater down at one end of the hallway and a big, dark living room at the other. One electric lamp by the couch if you needed it, all exits visible to the eye from there. Some of the people who had need of Jenny's place were all right and some weren't ever going to get right, and she'd already gotten several letters from the city advising her to keep a lower profile unless she wanted trouble but then I entered the picture. Bad luck. Like everybody else who came through I was trying to find a better direction but it didn't work out that way. Prying eyes should have tended to their own business. People don't think towns like ours can turn into battlegrounds but we had a war here. There. I don't live there any more either. I left when Jenny left. It's just a spot on a map now. We rode together for a while but them we lost each other. Sometimes I think I hear from her but other times I think I'm just dreaming. Nobody knows where anybody landed. You don't keep in touch when the war doesn't go your way.
eye-opening tumblr post for me included the words "people are meant to be burdens" as in humans rely on and support one another and it's not a bother it's our purpose; to love and be loved in return. so if you ever think you're being annoying just remember we were made to love and it's going to be okay
coming from the perspective of an addict in recovery. i'm a lot, i need help, i am a burden, and i am so, so loved and supported by my friends and family. i owe them my life and my heart
This is my largest piece to date, a sculpture called Inner Child that I made to participate in a pride festival art show. Making this was a deeply emotional experience, since often, keeping it steady while working made me entwine fingers with the life-sized hand.
